  The color difference of products in automotive plastic components processing plants is a common defect in injection molding. There are many factors affecting chromatic aberration, involving raw resin, color masterbatch, mixing of color masterbatch and raw materials, injection molding products, injection molding machines, molds, etc., because of the wide range of involved, so the color difference control technology is also recognized as one of the more difficult control technologies in injection molding.   1. Eliminate the influence of injection molding machines and mold elements

  To select an injection molding machine with the appropriate capacity for processing the main product with automotive plastic components, assuming that the injection molding machine has problems such as material dead ends, exchange equipment. Regarding the chromatic aberration caused by the casting system of the mold, the exhaust groove, etc., it can be handled by the repaired mold of the corresponding local mold. It is necessary to first deal with the injection molding machine and the mold head to organize production to reduce the complexity of the problem.

  Eliminate the influence of raw material resin and color masterbatch Controlling raw materials is the key to dealing with the color difference. Therefore, especially in the production of light-colored products, the significant influence of the thermal stability of the raw resin on the fluctuation of the product's glory cannot be ignored. Since most injection molding manufacturers do not produce plastic masterbatches or color masterbatches themselves, the focus of attention can be placed on production management and raw material inspection. That is to strengthen the inspection of raw materials into the warehouse; the same product should be produced by the same manufacturer, the same trademark masterbatch, and color masterbatch as much as possible; for the color masterbatch, we should stop sampling and test the color before mass production, both the same as the previous calibration. , and in this comparison, if the color difference is not big, it can be qualified, as if the batch of color masterbatch has a slight color difference, the color masterbatch can be re-mixed and then used to reduce the color difference caused by uneven mixing of the color masterbatch itself. At the same time, we also need to check the thermal stability of the raw material resin and color masterbatch. For those with poor thermal stability, we recommend that manufacturers stop the exchange.

  2. Reduce the influence of barrel temperature on chromatic aberration

  In the production of automotive plastic components processing plants, it is often encountered that the temperature of the barrel changes drastically due to the failure of a heating ring or the partial uncontrolled long-burning of the heating control, resulting in chromatic aberration. The chromatic aberration caused by such reasons is easy to determine. When the normal heating ring is damaged and fails, the chromatic aberration will be accompanied by uneven plasticization, and the partial uncontrolled long-burning of the heating control is often accompanied by product air spots, severe discoloration, and even coking. Therefore, it is necessary to check the heating part frequently during production and replace and repair it in time when the heating part is damaged or out of control, to reduce the probability of such chromatic aberration.
